The Challenge

After ten years as a brick-and-mortar, Index wanted to bring their sneaker-driven, community-focused retail store to a new level with an updated brand POV, seasonal apparel collections and photography to match.

My Role

Creative direction, strategy, art direction, design, photography, merchandise development, managing creatives, including graphic designers and photographers.

The Vision

Create a contemporary look and point of view that felt like a natural evolution of the Index brand. I developed a high impact streetwear POV that was tailored to Index's worldview, by focusing on community, Portland, non-traditional sneaker references and a low culture lens. I launched their seasonal their apparel program, created a consistent visual language seen throughout photography and social campaigns, and reoriented their social media presence.
