The Challenge
Great Notion Brewing, an award winning brewery, and Trillblazin, an apparel company focused on basketball beyond the court, were set to collaborate on a new beverage. Collaborative beers happen all of the time and the project needed a concept that would be able to cut through on social media to generate impact and sales.
My Role
Creative direction, strategy, story telling, art direction, apparel production management.
The Vision
We came up with Electric Lights, the world's first hard seltzer with electrolytes — the pick me up you absolutely need when the game's on the line. A fun and light concept coming from two brands who are known for the unexpected. By starting with a salient concept, and adding in strong visual components, we were able to create a story that was amplified through social media prerelease and sold out at all 8 Great Notion locations.
